Treat the itinerary as separate journeys
If you stay at two hotels, name the arrival hotel and the final departure hotel separately. An airport arrival, a later hotel change and the return to SJU are three journeys, not one automatic round trip. This website’s round-trip estimate combines two legs on the same route. A changed return route needs a checked quote; selecting the first hotel does not confirm collection from the second.
Match each hotel to the correct leg
For every journey, provide the local date, starting point, destination, full property names, municipality and exact entrance. A hotel brand or a general San Juan label is not enough. Confirm which reception or villa gate applies. Passenger numbers, child-seat needs, mobility equipment and bags belong to each vehicle request, even if the same family travels throughout. Keep each accepted confirmation with the journey it describes.
A Condado and Rincón planning example
Imagine landing at SJU, staying first in Condado, moving to Rincón later and flying home from SJU. Record the arrival as SJU to the Condado property. Record moving day as the Condado property to the Rincón property, with its own provider and quote. Record departure as the Rincón property to SJU. The airport destination pages describe airport routes; they do not establish a Condado-to-Rincón service, its price or availability. This is an illustrative itinerary, not a booking offer.
Plan checkout, bags and the next entrance
Ask the first accommodation when bags must be collected and the second when it can receive you. Early room access and luggage storage require confirmation from the property. If there is a gap, agree a practical destination and timing before booking the vehicle. A hotel-change ride does not automatically include storage, sightseeing or hours of waiting. Send the actual luggage load and arrange any stop separately.
Request a quote for the actual route
Do not subtract airport-zone prices to invent a hotel-to-hotel fare or treat the first hotel’s round-trip estimate as the total for the holiday. Use the existing enquiry page to identify both airport legs explicitly, with the correct hotel for each direction. Describe the intermediate journey separately and ask whether it can be arranged; the airport estimator does not confirm that service. Obtain each route, provider, vehicle, complete amount and waiting or change terms in writing.
Build the SJU return from your final hotel
Work backwards from the airline’s required airport-arrival time using the final accommodation’s address and road conditions. A Rincón return cannot inherit a pickup time planned for Condado. Allow separately for collecting stored bags and reaching the agreed entrance. If your last hotel or flight changes, send the revised property, local date and flight details and obtain an updated confirmation. Notify any other affected provider too; one changed message does not amend every booking.
Questions before confirming
Can I return from another hotel? Request the actual route and wait for confirmation of availability and the quote. Is the hotel-change journey included? Only if it is expressly confirmed as part of your agreement. Can separate providers handle the legs? Yes, if each arrangement is confirmed independently and you know who to contact. Does a quote request reserve the vehicles? No: the booking team must confirm the service in writing. Before accepting, check that every date, property and direction matches your itinerary.
