Identify the last known location
Separate an item left on the aircraft, at security, in an airport public area, in the hotel or inside a vehicle. SJU’s official services page directs travelers to different contacts depending on the location. Reporting an item to a transfer team does not create an airport or airline report.
For a transfer vehicle
Contact the booking team using your booking reference, journey date and route. Describe the item and where it was last seen. Give a safe return contact; do not publish a hotel-room number, identity document image or private travel details in a public comment.
For airport and airline items
Use the current airport services information for the applicable reporting route, or contact the airline for an onboard item. Check the official channel before submitting personal details. A transfer provider cannot search airline systems or promise access to restricted airport areas.
Agree a return arrangement
If an item is located, confirm the handover method, recipient and any delivery cost before arranging another journey. A cross-island return delivery may require a separate service. Do not assume that the original transfer fare includes a second trip.
Keep the record
Save the report reference, item description and accepted delivery instructions. If the lost item affects your travel documents or flight, ask the airline or relevant authority directly about the next step rather than waiting for the road provider to resolve eligibility.
Sources & editorial approach
Official operators are linked for current airport services, routes and schedules. Our practical planning advice is editorial guidance; confirm trip-specific instructions with your booked provider.
