Before the flight
Save your written confirmation, dispatcher contact, hotel address and meeting instructions on your phone for offline access. Share one reachable number with the booking team and include the international country code. A screenshot of an old public pickup map is not a replacement for your trip-specific instructions.
Choose a contact method that works
Check roaming charges and data availability with your mobile provider before departure. If using an eSIM, confirm device compatibility, activation timing and whether it provides a usable phone number. A data-only plan can support messaging but may not receive ordinary calls to your usual number.
At the airport
Follow current airport signs or ask staff about available connectivity rather than joining a network based only on a similar name. You do not need to send passwords, passport images or payment details to tell the dispatcher that your group has collected its bags.
If you cannot connect
Use the offline meeting description and the phone contact in your confirmation. Stay in the agreed public area while seeking help. If another traveler contacts the team for you, give the booking reference and terminal so the dispatcher can identify the correct party.
Keep the return simple
Confirm how you will be reachable at the hotel, especially for an early pickup or an island connection. Update the team if your number changes. Do not assume that a message marked as sent has been read and accepted as a change to the booking.
