Describe the stop when requesting
Tell the team whether you need a brief grocery collection, a full shop, a meal or a second accommodation drop-off. Include the intended duration and the number of passengers and bags. A direct hotel transfer estimate does not include open-ended shopping time.
Agree a practical location
A store close to the route may be more practical than a preferred location that requires a detour. Check opening hours for the travel date. The assigned provider should confirm whether the requested stop fits the arrival time, road journey and vehicle schedule.
Keep luggage and seating in view
Adding shopping to a vehicle already full of suitcases can change the space requirement. Discuss groceries, coolers and large purchases before choosing a vehicle. Passenger seats and luggage space must remain appropriate for the actual party.
Separate the charges
Ask for the stop allowance, waiting rate if applicable and total road-service price in writing. Purchases are paid separately. Do not assume that unused waiting time on arrival can be exchanged for a shopping stop.
Protect time-sensitive journeys
For an airport departure, Ceiba ferry or cruise connection, plan the required arrival time first. A stop that works on a flexible hotel arrival may be unsuitable on the return. Confirm any change with the dispatcher before the driver starts the journey.
